The FIRE Project empowers adolescent girls and young women to achieve financial independence and reduce their vulnerability to HIV/AIDS and other socio-economic risks. By integrating economic strengthening with sexual and reproductive health education, participants are equipped to make informed decisions, build sustainable livelihoods, and protect their wellbeing.
FIRE provides financial literacy training, mentorship, startup capital, and savings education, targeting girls and young women who are out of school, parenting, or living in economically disadvantaged communities. The project also links participants to youth-friendly health services for HIV testing, counseling, and prevention.
